2017 Hyundai Santa Cruz concept was presented by Hyundai at 2015 North America International Auto Show. It will be available as a sporty crossover in future with the truck features. Its premiere started in United States and public have good response. Of course, it wouldn’t be easy for Hyundai to win the competition in pickup and truck segment by releasing 2017 Hyundai Santa Cruz. They should have their best effort to deal will Honda Ridgeline and Chevrolet Avalanche.

2017 Hyundai Santa Cruz will be designed by Hyundai with something different from Subaru. This car has rear axle on the right place which is quite different from Subaru Baja that was placed in between the cabin and bed so that the truck design looks like spoiled. The bodywork for this truck is very fast and sleek. The shape is just like a crossover but the rear part of its hood seems chopped off.

When you open the door and check the cabin of 2017 Hyundai Santa Cruz concept, it is believe to get enhanced design styling and features. Well, we don’t know for sure about the cabin concept since this area is still a big secret. It is only mentioned that the design will be conventional because the rear hinged doors. Reports also said that it has more different design compared to other common trucks since it doesn’t come with closed storage room under its bed. It might go with the sliding rear seats to offer extra seats but if it is not in use, it will be for cargo.

In the term of the mechanical details and performance, this new truck will be released with 2.0 liter diesel and four-cylinder in order to provide the amount of output about 190 hp and 300 pound-feet of torque. It is also featured with special Brembo brakes and air vents for engine cooling. In addition, 2017 Hyundai Santa Cruz has better fuel efficiency compared to other trucks in America with the ability to achieve around 30 mpg combined city and highway.
