The model will be three inches longer and one inch wider which is designed with the new square-jawed styling as the completely new look. The front fascia is designed with the new hexagonal grille completed with the LED headlights placed high on the hood line. Other new upgrades are also available to enhance the appearance of this car. In addition, the interior of this car is also improved. The cabin will be designed with the high-quality materials and also high-quality of comfort. The other features to complete this Hyundai Tucson 2017 are the safety features such as the blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, semi-autonomous emergency braking which offers three levels of braking force and others.
2017 Hyundai Tucson Engine
The under hood of this 2017 Hyundai Tucson will be the same as the previous model. The engine will be available in two variants. The base engine is the 2.0-liter with 4-cylinder unit which can generate power to 164 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. The second engine is the 1.6 turbocharged engines with inline-four unit which can generate power to 175 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of maximal torque. The second engine is smaller than the base engine but it is more efficient. Those engines are equipped with the 6-speed automatic transmission. While for the new 7-speed DCT will only be available in 1.6-liter.
2017 Hyundai Tucson Release Date and Competition
The release date of this car is predicted will be in the late of 2016. While, in the Middle East market it will be the 2017 year model. The competitors of this 2017 Hyundai Tucson will be the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Jeep Cherokee, and Ford Escape.
